After several years of planning, ATX Cadets will make its inaugural debut during the 2012 season!
ATX Cadets will be made up of students ages 8-14 who might be interested in something fun and different to do! Everyone is accepted, regardless of ability!
We will be holding an interest meeting on Sunday, October 23 from 3-3:30 pm at St Louis Catholic School gym (7601 Burnet Rd, Austin, TX), where ATX Winterguard rehearses.
Please pass this information on to friends, family, etc. who have young kids that are looking for a fun, safe activity for their children! :-)
Rehearsals will be twice a month for 2-3 hours each. We are estimating a cost of $25 per rehearsal ($50 a month), plus a $40 non-refundable tuition deposit. There will be no contracts. Plans are to perform at 2 or 3 Austin area winterguard contests in January, February, and March.
Total cost estimate = $300. Students will get a flag, pole, costume, and Tshirt that they get to keep.
