So the past few weeks have been very busy as we finalize several key components of our organization! We welcome 2 new staff members for ATX Independent, our competitive A class winterguard, and we also welcome 1 new staff member for ATX Stars exhibition guard! More information will be available as soon as I get bios and pictures of all the staff! I can't wait.
We've also selected a song, and begun designing floor, costumes, and flags. I've been speaking with a local screen-printer (http://chinprint.com) who will be producing our tshirts as well. Hopefully they will be done with our first batch this week so that I can have them available at Spin Camp!
Speaking of Spin Camp, it's this Saturday, Sept 27 from 1pm-6pm at Hoop Zone in Austin. Aaron and the guys at Hoop Zone (http://hoop-zone.net) have been working hard with us to help us get all the rehearsals we need scheduled there. Great people!
Don't forget, the Spin Camp is also a food drive to help benefit Austin Capitol Area Food Bank! Bring some food items and toiletries to help the people who have to deal with Hurricane Ike, as well as local people who are going through really tough times and having difficulty putting food on the table for themselves and their kids.
