Yay! Good news

Yesterday afternoon my friend Matt Larusso at Element 27 Design sent me a prototype of our new logo! This is only 1 version. There are three total. I have known Matt since college, and was stunned that he offered to do this work for us! As a professional graphic artist in NJ, he works for some big companies making logos and other visual elements for a good amount of money.

Also, we now have 2 rehearsal facilities for the season, Hoop Zone at 826 Rutland and St. Louis Catholic School on Burnet Road near the Northcross mall. I just need to find 1 or 2 more as backup, and we'll be good to go!

ATX has a fundraiser set up to sell concessions at University of Texas football games! Woot. We're working with Austin Stars to ensure that we have enough people to work. Hopefully we get a good area and can make $800 per game, which would greatly reduce performance fees for the members who work the event.
