With some help from Lisa Goddard from the Capitol Area Food Bank in Austin, TX, Austin Independent (ATX) Winterguard will be holding a food drive in conjunction with our Open House/Spin Camp 2! Participants who pre-register and pre-pay for the event thorough the eventbrite.com link on our blog or on our website AND who bring 5 non-perishable food items to the event will receive $10 back and a free Tshirt.
We are asking that participants consider donating all or a portion of the $10 refund to the food drive as well. Each $10 donation will pay for approximately 50 meals through the Capitol Area Food Bank. A "virtual food drive" for those who cannot attend the event will also be held. (More detailed information will be posted here and on our website when it becomes available.)
