Austin Independent Winterguard plans to put out 2 guards for the 2009 season.
ATXguard: A competitive independent guard competing in TCGC and TECA circuits. Membership is open to anyone 14-22 years old.
ATXstars: An exhibition guard with lighter schedule, focused on being ambassadors for the Austin Stars Drum and Bugle Corps, and ATXguard. Membership open to anyone 23+ years old.
